On Thursday 22nd April 2010, the James Whale Fund for Kidney Cancer and South Wales Urology Nurses Group will be holding a kidney cancer study day in Cardiff Wales.
The aim of the study day is to provide professionals in the field with information about kidney cancer to support them when treating kidney cancer patients.
To date the following speakers have been confirmed:
Professor John Wagstaff, Director of Wales Cancer Trials Network and Oncologist in Singleton Hospital Swansea
Christian Smith, Specialist Urology Nurse, Velindre Cancer Centre
Rose Woodward, Volunteer Chair of Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Cancer Care and Patient Group. Founder of the Kidney Cancer Support Network. For two years Rose fought tirelessly for kidney cancer patients throughout UK to have better access to cancer drugs.
Chair of the study day is: Lawrence McGinty, ITN's award winning science editor
