The Budwig Protocol

Postby Rach on Sat Jul 03, 2010 10:41 pm

I was wondering if anyone had had any luck with the Budwig Protocol? I have read a lot about it over the past few days since my mum with TCC of renal pelvis (mets to lymphs and a rib) was 'classed as terminal'. Its a dietry therapy where you combine flaxseed (linseed) with cottage cheese which, to cut a long story very short, increases oxygen to cells, which healthy cells love, and cancer cells hate and die.
I have read many testimonials on this and it does seem to really help some people, many with 'terminal' stage 4 cancers and have gone into complete remission. I am highly encouraging my mum to do this diet, it also requires a very healthy eating plan to go with it, sunlight therapy and relaxation. It has worked for many cancers including RCC.
Please let me know if you have any experience of this therapy or any other alternative holistic therapies.
Many thanks
Rachel

HelloRach
For a few years, once a day (at breakfast or whenever) i took freshly ground linseed, a bit of linseed oil and cottage cheese. Then my life got a bit complicated, moving house etc. and I stopped. I did not follow full protocol, although i am always mindful of keeping my pH as alkaline as possible.
So, i am sorry, i can't say if it has helped or not. VERY DIFFICULT to evaluate.
BUT i was glad to read your post as it reminded me of Budwig. AND yes tomorrow i will get some cottage cheese and do the cottage cheese/linseed again.
I do quite a lot of research and OXYGEN in its many, many mysterious ways i am sure is very important in putting up a good fight against KC. It's sort of a pity almost that it is as free as air and i am certain there never will be research.
Rach, above all be true to yourself.

Regards, Judith
